Also charged is an alleged top lieutenant to Wallis.
United said it has “removed Mr. Wallis from his flying duties”. He’s charged with aggravated promotion of prostitution and engaging in criminal activity, and is out on bond, which was set at $15,000 total for both charges.
Court records did not list an attorney for Wallis, and attempts to reach him were not immediately successful. He faces a maximum prison sentence of 20 years, the Houston Chronicle reported Thursday. Authorities searched 17 locations Wednesday and 12 people were arrested on a variety of charges ranging from misdemeanors to felonies. No clients were arrested, he said.
