Pippa and her hedge fund manager love released a statement following their engagement, announcing that they plan to tie the knot in 2017.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are “absolutely delighted” that Kate’s sister, Pippa Middleton, is to Wednesday her financier boyfriend, James Matthews, Kensington Palace has said.

Pippa Middleton and James Matthews got engaged over the weekend and plan to Wednesday next year, according to the BBC.
She added: “Kate would want to be in the background as much as possible”. She wore a stunning Alexander McQueen dress for the occasion which nearly stole the show from her Royal sister.
This comes five years after Pippa stood at her sister’s fairy-tale wedding.
The news publication also reports that sister Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge and husband Prince William are “thrilled by the news” as, of course, are her parents Carole and Michael Middleton.
Once the news of the engagement broke, Kate’s little sis was all smiles as she stepped out in a white Whistles dress and a brown tote.
James Matthews, 40, is the chief exective of Eden Rock Capital Management group.
Janet, 69, said she finds the concept of wearing a ring “out of date” and likened it to being “handcuffed”.
Despite the rumors, there is no proof that Pippa and Prince Harry were ever a couple. Matthews’ brother Spencer has a considerably bad reputation as a womaniser on Made In Chelsea.
Pippa and James have been dating for eight months, after having been previously romantically involved in 2012.
