He’s been almost unhittable on most nights for the better part of three months.

The Pittsburgh Pirates have a huge puzzle to solve, and the continuation of their season depends upon their success. He is hitting. 348 against Arrieta, no other Pirate is hitting above.

Of course, the Pirates will need more than just McCutchen’s hot bat to upend their Central division rivals.
