Pirlo refutes ‘laughing at Manchester United’ remark
“We were in total disbelief that a player with so much obvious ability left a club the size of Manchester United for free – I think Juventus are still laughing”.

Andrea Pirlo claims Juventus “are still laughing” over the revenue they made by signing Paul Pogba and selling him back to Manchester United.
But Pogba’s former team-mate Pirlo has taken to Twitter to discredit the story.
Pogba moved back to Old Trafford for a reported world-record fee of close to £93million this month after winning Serie A four times in a row, as well as two Coppa Italia and two Supercoppa titles in Turin.
“I will always remember the first day he trained at Juventus”. He was only young, but we could see he was special. “But if Pogba gets anywhere near those levels – those of Robson and Keane – in five or six years’ time, he will be looked upon as cheap”. “You would be buying a player who is the best in his position in the world, a player that can be the best in his position for the next 10 years”.
“He is the best young player I have ever seen, and I don’t think we are far away from calling him the best player in the world. Football has to be prepared for the next king after Messi and Ronaldo!”.
Manchester United legend Gary Neville believes that Paul Pogba would turn out to be a cheap signing for the Red Devils in the long run should he reach his potential.
United and Sir Alex Ferguson’s loss in a player they refused to hand a contract in the region of £15,000-£20,000-a-week was very much Juventus’ gain.
Pirlo says that while Juventus may have lost their prize asset they are still struggling to believe they managed to land him for such a nominal fee in the first place.

So when an worldwide newspaper publishes an interview with one of the biggest names in world football, it’s pretty reasonable to assume that they actually spoke with the man in question. You give any team Pogba and Zlatan [Ibrahimovic] in one window and they are going to capable of special things.
