Brad Pitt spoke with Los Angeles authorities recently about an incident involving one of his children with Angelina Jolie, who filed for divorce this week.

The incident is said to have been anonymously reported to the LA County Department of Children and Family Services. TMZ is reporting that Brad lunged at his 15-year-old son, Maddox, while on a private jet and made some sort of physical contact with him. “We are not having any investigations regarding Brad Pitt”, police spokesman Lorenzo Quezada said.
The complaint also said he was allegedly inebriated at the time, People reported.
A source close to Pitt told USA Today that the Fight Club star meant to cooperate fully with any investigation and that he believed the child abuse allegations were baseless.
Both TMZ and People magazine’s anonymous sources said that an anonymous tip from a witness on the airport tarmac prompted the investigation.
Pitt and Jolie – who have become known as “Brangelina” have been together for 12 years but only Wednesday two years ago in France.
Later on Thursday, TMZ and People magazine said the case had subsequently been transferred to the Federal Bureau of Investigation as the alleged incident occurred in the air.
The abuse reports surfaced just days after Jolie, 41, filed for divorce from Pitt in a Los Angeles court on Monday, citing irreconcilable differences.
“Extra” reached out to the Department of Children and Family Services for comment and received this response: “The law does not allow us to confirm or deny the subjects of our investigations”.
Jolie has requested physical custody of the couple’s six children.
“I think the most important thing is the fact that he is co-operating and that he takes it seriously, he recognises it is a serious matter and he is willing to do whatever will be best for his family”. “I kindly ask the press to give them the space they deserve during this challenging time”.
