The Nexus 6P might be succeeded by the “Pixel XL”. According to the earlier leaks, the Pixel is a 5-inch device while the Pixel XL comes with a 5.5-inch screen.
Google has long cooperated with select hardware manufacturers to build its own flagship phones.
The Sailfish, or Pixel, is believed to be 5-inches with a rounded design. It will come with 4GB RAM and 32GB internal memory. The device will pack a 13MP rear camera while there will be an 8MP front facing camera also on board. The reasons for Google adopting a new nomenclature is unclear yet, but the products will come with class leading specifications in nearly every regard.
Nexus, or Pixel will not come with expandable storage, so it is imperative that the phones come with slightly larger memory to accommodate the user’s needs. We will soon update you as we get the information about it. Just a few months ago at Google I/O, the company announced plans to release a developer kit for the phone by this fall, with a consumer release to follow in 2017.
Google will add some customizations such as the brand new “Nexus Launcher”, which is also leaked, Double-Tap top show Ambient display notifications, and some other additions. Reportedly, the new flagships will be rebranded as Pixel. According to another Android Police report, the devices will actually be branded “Pixel” and “Pixel XL”.

Speaking of which, AndroidPolice states that the devices, the Google Pixel and the Google Pixel XL, will be made official on October 4th. Now, the two names that were associated to Google’s phone line are being replaced. I’m definitely looking forward to October 4th, and if you are too, let me know below.
