Plane crashes into OH apartment building
The plane departed from Cincinnati on Tuesday morning and stopped in Dayton before crashing into an apartment building on approach to a small airport in Akron. CNN affiliate WJW of Cleveland reported that there was rain and low clouds in the area. Authorities say no one aboard the plane survived, but have not confirmed the number of people on the plane. The head of the team also worked on recovering the remains of the passengers from Flight 93 after it crashed in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, on 9/11. The plane, a 10-seat Hawker H25 jet, crossed a busy street, clipped electrical and telephone wires, hit a residential building and ignited in flames Tuesday in Akron.

A resident of the neighborhood where the jet went down told the local Fox affiliate electricity went out at almost the same time as the crash, with subsequent explosions heard after the initial impact.
Jet owner Augusto Lewkowicz said two pilots and seven passengers were on the flight.
According to FlightAware.com, the plane originated in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. and made a stop at Dayton’s Wright Brothers Airport before leaving at 2:13 p.m. Tuesday for Akron Fulton global Airport.
“Obviously, the situation could have been worse, granted, if anybody was home”, Ohio Highway Patrol Lt. William Haymaker said.
She was driving home when she saw the plane crash and burst into flames.
Aviation expert Jamie Lebovitz, a senior partner at Nurenberg Paris, says there could be several preliminary reports released about the crash, but he speculates that it could take at least one year before the FAA releases its factual report.
Paige McVeigh, who lives near the block where the crash took place, was on Snapchat when the plane hit the apartment building, according to The New Zealand Herald.
