Planned Parenthood is under attack
Busloads of anti-abortion activists rallied outside the Planned Parenthood clinic near University Avenue and Vandalia Street in St. Paul on Tuesday for a speak-out staged to coincide with similar protests around the nation. “And these mothers don’t know“, O’Donnell said.

“[They say] they care no matter what, [that] they’re truly there for women – and you can see [from this video] that this is nothing but a business”, says Hawkins. When asked by state Rep. Joel Kleefisch what would happen if Wisconsin women simply stopped having abortions, he replied that “It would have a substantial negative impact on our capacity to do the life-saving research that we are doing”.
Sometimes women had just received pregnancy tests and had not even made a decision to abortion before the StemExpress representatives attempted to obtain consent for their fetal remains.
“So basically you just went in there and took her blood and you’re going to be taking her fetus without her knowing”, O’Donnell recalled.
“I’m not going to tell a girl to kill her baby just to get money”, former Stem Express Representative Holly O’Donnell explains in the interview released by the Center for Medical Progress, “and that’s what this company does”.
The video was released despite attempts by federal judges to place restraining orders on the Center for Medical Progress – the group which has been conducting the undercover investigation.

Planned Parenthood denies that it has broken any laws and has repeatedly dismissed the Center for Medical Progress as extremist. It said that 100% of its samples are collected “according to the highest ethical standards and in strict adherence to the law”. “The human misery that is inflicted on women by Planned Parenthood and their body parts partner StemExpress is reminiscent of butchers chopping meat and selling it by the pound”. But it appears these clinics aren’t accomplishing as much as their larger, better-known cousin: Between 2001 and 2010, about 700 new clinics receiving federal money opened in underserved areas, but the number of Americans receiving publicly funded contraceptive care remained “virtually unchanged”, the Guttmacher Institute reports.
“I think people want to make sure something like that isn’t happening in the state of Wisconsin”, Walker said.
After the multiple controversial videos of Planned Parenthood officials talking about harvesting fetal tissue, Republicans by the score called for Congress to vote to completely defund the health care organization. “And that’s what this company does”, she said in the video.

“It’s not an option, it’s a demand”, StemExpress supervisors instructed O’Donnell about approaching pregnant women at Planned Parenthood for fetal tissue “donations”. She says they’ve touched everyone in some way.
