Planned Parenthood procedures questioned

Planned Parenthood is accusing state health care officials of wrongly citing three of their abortion clinics with violations of state licensing requirements.

Documents released Wednesday by AHCA alleged that the clinics in St. Petersburg, Fort Myers and Naples were licensed to perform first-trimester abortions but performed procedures in the second trimester. A fourth clinic in Pembroke Pines was asked to submit corrective action for failing to properly label and date fetal remains.

Alabama’s governor Robert Bentley’s office recently released a statement that the state Medicaid Agency will be terminating its contract with Planned Parenthood. “These facilities have been notified to immediately cease performing second trimester abortions”.

Nationwide, Planned Parenthood receives about 75 percent of its roughly $500 million in annual government funding from Medicaid.

Planned Parenthood Florida says it’s not done anything wrong, and is accusing the state Agency for Healthcare Administration of flip-flopping on the rules regarding abortions.

Planned Parenthood has made a business out of destroying that which God has created”, she said. The clinics, she said, are operating within Florida law. He has denounced the organisation for its “evil” and “ungodly” acts and urged that the health care provider be investigated and prosecuted for selling baby parts.

Expressing shock and pain at the stand taken by these states about terminating the contract, Planned Parenthood’s Southeast CEO Staci Fox stated that this step will deny much needed medical assistance to men and women from low income groups, who do not have any kind of insurance.

Indeed, Scott publicly announced the inspections before many of them had been completed, an unusual move that contradicts AHCA’s normal policy of conducting surprise inspections. “So the right thing to do is to let the public know we are responding by doing an investigation to make sure they are complying with the law”.

Planned Parenthood from its very beginning was founded by someone who believed it was a eugenesis”, Santorum said, adding that he believes Planned Parenthood is dehumanizing unborn children “like they were trying to dehumanize blacks many, many years ago”.

Newman’s comments came just two days after the anti-abortion group released a fifth secretly recorded video they claim shows the director of
research for Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast, Melissa Farrell, meeting with actors posing as representatives from a fetal tissue procurement company to discuss a partnership to harvest fetal organs.
