The man accused of killing three people in a shooting at a Colorado Springs Planned Parenthood blurted out in court on Wednesday: “I’m a warrior for the babies” and “I’m guilty”.

“I’m a warrior for the babies”, Dear shouted during the court appearance, where he was being advised of the 179 charges he faces, including first-degree murder.
Three people, including a UCCS police officer, were killed and nine others were injured in the shooting November 27.
After that hearing, Dan May, the district attorney for Colorado’s 4th Judicial District, declined to say whether he would seek the death penalty, and said that he had “been in discussion” with federal officials about the possibility of federal charges.
Robert Dear, the suspect in the mass shooting at a Colorado Planned Parenthood that killed two civilians and a police officer, reportedly had an outburst in court Wednesday.
When asked if anti-Planned Parenthood rhetoric could possibly have precipitated Friday’s attack, Ms. Fiorina again ducked the question, dismissing such concerns as a “left-wing tactic”.
Soon afterwards he stated “You’ll never know the amount of blood I saw in that place”. Some shooters don’t care whether they live or die, and officers often confront the gunman without backup and without much information.
King, who represented Colorado theater shooter James Holmes, has asked the judge to impose a gag order on participants in the Planned Parenthood case before a trial.
In 2003, he was arrested and charged with two counts of animal cruelty, but he was found not guilty at a bench trial.
Prosecutors will announce the charges filed against Robert Lewis Dear during a court hearing Wednesday in Colorado Springs. He was arrested after a five-hour standoff with police at the clinic in Colorado Springs, CO. According to law enforcement, however, he did mentioned baby parts in an apparent reference to the recent Planned Parenthood controversy.

“Well, I would say the same thing to people who say that that I would say to people who suggest that because radical Muslims are terrorists that that means Islam is itself necessarily unsafe and violent”, Moore said. One of those killed also included a police officer.
