The man accused of killing three people in a shooting at a Colorado Springs Planned Parenthood blurted out in court on Wednesday: “I’m a warrior for the babies” and “I’m guilty”.

“I’m a warrior for the babies”, Dear shouted during the court appearance, where he was being advised of the 179 charges he faces, including first-degree murder.
Three people, including a UCCS police officer, were killed and nine others were injured in the shooting November 27.
After that hearing, Dan May, the district attorney for Colorado’s 4th Judicial District, declined to say whether he would seek the death penalty, and said that he had “been in discussion” with federal officials about the possibility of federal charges.
