ManchesterPlanned Parenthood for America is expected to endorse Hillary Clinton on Sunday in Manchester, two sources with knowledge of the endorsement tell CBS News.

Planned Parenthood Action Fund is a force in campaign politics. And Clinton has been unequivocal in her support of the organization.
“Everything Planned Parenthood has believed in and fought for over the past 100 years is on the ballot”, said Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards.
The decision comes as Planned Parenthood has become a political lightening rod in the race and congressional Republican are seeking to strip its funding.
According to The New York Times, Clinton – the presumptive Democratic nominee – will officially accept the endorsement during a rally in New Hampshire on Sunday.
The organization has been under fire for months, after a slew of undercover videos alleged that Planned Parenthood had illegally sold fetal tissue, an accusation it has denied. She said in a statement to the Times that she was “honored” by the endorsement, adding that the bill to defund Planned Parenthood is “a jarring reminder of what’s at stake in 2016”. “Thankfully, President Obama will exercise his veto power to stop the Republicans from cutting off women, men, and young people from vital health care services at Planned Parenthood-including cancer screenings, well-woman exams, and STI and HIV tests-and taking away health coverage from 18 million people”.

“Every single GOP presidential candidate would defund Planned Parenthood”, the former secretary of State added. Planned Parenthood also sponsors aspects of the Clinton Global Initiative, and other women’s organizations like Emily’s List share supporters among Clinton and Planned Parenthood, as well. On social media, she is a fan of the hashtag #StandwithPP. Furthermore, “Clinton’s record on women’s issues and health care gave her an edge over” fellow candidates Martin O’Malley and Bernie Sanders, reports The New York Times.
