Be sure to bring your Easter baskets to collect the eggs during the hunt.
Children ages five and under will hunt eggs starting at 6 p.m. Children ages 6 through 12 years should bring a flashlight for the egg hunt starting at 8:15 p.m., and all participants should bring their own egg carrier.
The hunt will start at 10 a.m. sharp, said Shannon Mullen, executive director. Admission includes pancake breakfast, beverage, coloring book, treat and a visit with the Easter Bunny.
The event is organized for children 12 and younger and is free to the public.
Adams Morgan residents are looking for contributions of money, candy and plastic eggs to help make an annual Easter egg hunt possible this month. “And the families that come with the grandparents and watching them enjoy seeing the grandkids having fun”.
About 150 children attended last year’s Easter Egg Event, but attendance typically depends on the weather.
