Playboy model accused of lacking common decency
“Here’s the deal – you may have been a Playboy model but not all of us work out to be “hot, ‘ some of us work out simply to honor the bodies we were given”.

Nicole Henry, of Amston, said she grabbed her 15-year-old foster son and told them they were going shopping.
After Playboy model Dani Mathers made headlines for body shaming a fellow gym-goer in the locker room, the fitness community had plenty to say about the ethics of snapping photos at the gym. “That’s all that woman was trying to do and you violated her”, wrote a woman in an open Facebook letter to Mathers, along with a naked photo of the poster in her “5-foot 10-inch, 194lb lumpy, bumpy glory”. Still, he said, “a judge could take a dim view of the action and really want to see her punished”. “I started thinking about how fat people, like me, get judged by some exclusively by our outward appearance, and that really bothered me”. Mathers claimed she accidentally posted it but has nonetheless received backlash that included being banned from her gym. Yes, my body has rolls, and stretch marks, but my body is so much more than that.
Along with the picture, Henry wrote a long caption where she highlighted some of her impressive accomplishments. This body may be fat, but it has volunteered at the local Special Olympics swim meet for 15 years and sat through classes to become a certified foster parent. This body may be fat, but it has run two 5Ks, it has given countless hugs to my niece and nephew… and now it has worn a 2 piece bathing suit.My body is strong, it’s powerful, and it’s mine. “I bet I could get 100s of women to post their attractive bodies and regardless of size, shape or color, they will ALL be more lovely than the ugliness you showed in that post”.
“I understand fully the magnitude of this post that I have hurt a lot of people, women”.
The woman in the photo was not identified and it was not clear if she knew she was being photographed.
“I debated doing this, but while I was in the store looking for a bathing suit to wear, I heard a little girl tell her mom how badly she wanted to lose weight”, Henry said.
Henry’s post has gone viral. She lists these accomplishment not as a means of bragging but as a way to illustrate her point that a person is more than just what he or she looks like. She later apologized, saying the post was meant to be a private message, and deleted her social media accounts.
