Playboy Playmate Dani Mathers could face jail time for gym photo
Dani Mathers, who mocked the naked woman in a July Snapchat photo that wound up going public, could now face up to six months’ jail time on a misdemeanor dissemination of private images charge, TMZ reported Monday.

The former Playmate of the Year drew the ire of countless social media users who bashed her for not only violating the woman’s privacy, but also ridiculing her body.
In case you missed it, back in July, Dani Mathers apparently thought it would be amusing to Snapchat a photo of herself snickering as a visibly naked woman in the background cleaned up in the locker room. LA Fitness banned Mathers from its facilities for life, with the firm’s executive vice president of operations, Jill Greuling, calling her actions “appalling”.
After the incident occurred earlier this summer, a petition was launched against Mathers on Change.org.
“While Ms. Mathers has since apologized for her offense she needs to be brought to court with criminal charges as she has committed a criminal act. It was absolutely wrong and not what I meant to do”, the 29-year-old said in the video. “Body shaming is not okay.and not something to joke about”. The photo was taken as part of a personal conversation with a girlfriend and because I am new to Snapchat I really didn’t realize I had posted it, and that was a huge mistake. “I understand fully the magnitude of this post that I have hurt a lot of people, women”.

“I have never done this before and I will never do this again, you have my word”. “I need to take some time to myself now to reflect on why I did this frightful thing”.
