PlayStation Plus will increase by $10 starting September 22
Sony’s PlayStation 4 refresh is scheduled to debut on September 7, but fresh rumors suggest the company may debut more than one new product.

The evidence for this comes courtesy of auction website Gumtree, on which a seller from Manchester in the United Kingdom posted a listing for a slim PS4 with rounded edges and a 500GB hard drive.
Macquarie Securities analyst Damian Thong told the WSJ that the new standard model would be cheaper and slimmer than the $350 version now on the market.
The Playstation 4 is getting a facelift.
At least now we know that there is a PS4 Slim out there.
Sony is expected to officially unveil the new PlayStation 4 Slim during their press conference which is scheduled to take place on September 7th, 2016. The headset will sell in the USA on October 13 at $399.
Introducing a “slimmer” standard version of the PS4 console ensures that Sony’s lineup remains competitive. Even this news was confirmed by Andrew House, the Sony Interactive Entertainment CEO as well. Aside from that, the console should be exactly the same. All future PS4 games will be playable on all types of PS4 consoles. Some sources have also compared the slimmer version to its original PS4 model.
The introduction of a second console marks a new approach for the company.
As for release times, it wouldn’t be too surprising to see Sony announce a schedule similar to Microsoft’s console releases.

Like the Xbox One S, this new model doesn’t seem like something current PlayStation owners will want to pick up – the PlayStation 4 Neo would be a much more worthy choice.
