It looks like PlayStation Network’s “Powers” won’t be back for a third season. After two seasons, Bendis confirms that the expensive and ambitious PlayStation series will come to an end.

The PlayStation Network comic book drama from Sony Television has been canceled after two seasons, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed. He thanked fans for their support, adding that the Powers comic book, which he writes, will continue with Marvel as the publisher.
Season 1 ended with a fascinating set-up, introducing the iconic “Who Killed Retro Girl?” arc, but Season 2 floundered and failed to live up to the promise. As a former hero himself, Copley’s brooding lead served as the lynchpin between both worlds and though early episodes displayed real promise, lackluster ratings pinned Sony’s adaptation into a corner early on. Susan Heyward also starred as Deena Pilgrim, Walker’s partner and a key member of the Powers Division.
Are you disappointed that PlayStation Network has made a decision to cancel Powers after just two seasons?
