PlayStation VR Will Have Over 100 Games For You To Play
Unfortunately, there is no detail right now about how many games Sony plans to launch alongside PlayStation VR, but Sony’s CEO Kazuo Hirai has mentioned various details about the development process, including the number of games currently in development and how many developers are already partnering with Sony to launch games. The PSVR is rumored to launch before July with a $399 price tag. Gamers and Sony fans were disappointed not to receive new information on the company’s next VR device. Hirai noted that developers are working on 100 or more titles for the VR headset from Sony. Although there were PlayStation VR demo units installed at booths, no additional information was disclosed to the gaming public.

That puts it at US$399 (RM1,729), the PlayStation 4’s launch price, in the same ballpark as both the Rift and Vive.
Sony may have skipped the PlayStation VR entirely during its presentation at the CES 2016, but they did talk about it behind the scenes during the event, and some good news to share for all gamers. It will have multiplayer gaming support and “360-degree sphere for visual and audio components”.
SuperData’s report covers all facets of virtual reality, suggesting that console VR will take up just 5% of the projected 38 million install base this year, compared to 7% for premium mobile VR, 17% for PC VR, and 71% for light mobile VR.
“Gran Turismo Sport”, Sony’s flagship racing video game, will be available in the PlayStation VR.
Virtual reality is already proving to be one of the biggest trends of the year.

Stephanie Llamas, SuperData Director of Research, said, “Initially, affordable smartphone devices will drive the bulk of sales as consumers first explore virtual reality before committing to the more expensive platforms”. They’re bringing virtual reality to a different group of people who I don’t think where ever really a part of our market anyway.
