Most Pixar fans would probably agree Toy Story 3 was a touching and downright flawless end to the animation studio’s flagship franchise. After all, its three predecessors are among the strongest films in Pixar’s mostly untouchable library.
Brad Bird, who directed the original Incredibles, provided a few updates on the sequel while promoting Tomorrowland earlier this year.
Woody (Tom Hanks), Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen) and the rest of the gang from the original “Toy Story” trilogy are expected to return to the big screen in 2017.
In keeping with the Pixar track record, The Good Dinosaur will feature a short film attached to it come November.
Toy Story 4 was announced back in 2014 and at the time actress Rashida Jones and her producing partner Will McCormack were reportedly co-writing the script. How Toy Story 4 addresses this will be curious to see.
