PM Modi to hold three rallies in Bihar in August
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address three rallies in Bihar next month to bolster BJP prospects in the coming assembly elections, a party leader said here on Wednesday.

Following the scarcity of doctors in state health facilities, the government also approved the much delayed extension in retirement age of doctors from 65 to 67 years. “He (Kumar) should have given credit to us too for all good works happening in Bihar“, BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi told reporters.
In response to the Nitish government’s 10-year report card released on July 27, the Bharatiya Janata Party on Friday brought out its own, accusing Mr. Kumar’s government of “derailing development” in the State in the last 25 months.
Over the past two years since the parting of ways by the two erstwhile NDA constituents, Bihar has been facing political instability with crime, corruption and lawlessness as hallmarks ever since RJD and Congress, besides other smaller allies supported JD(U) to run a fragile government for remainder of its current term, he claimed. Over the years, Nitish has strengthened his loyal voters by adding reservations for women in cooperative societies, police force, and in urban local bodies, aiming to get them to vote en block in his favour.
The alliance had then won three-fourth majority, which “does not happen every time in politics”, he said.
Nitish Kumar on Monday said the state had developed in the last 10 years and his government had worked for its development with justice for all.
“Even the State’s growth rate has remained half of what it was during the NDA government”.

All the rallies will be likely attended by LJP chief Ram Vilas Paswan, RLSP head Upendra Kushwaha and ex-Bihar CM Jitan Ram Manjhi.
