PM Nawaz departs for three-day visit to Belarus
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Monday left for Belarus on a landmark three-day official visit.

During the visit, the premier will have a one on one meeting with president of Belarus followed by the delegation level talks, the statement added. The Prime Minister is scheduled to visit top Belarusian industrial units as well.
The prime minister was accompanied by Information Minister Pervaiz Rasheed, Minister for Food Security Sikandar Hayat Bosan, Minister for Defense Production Rana Tanveer and Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi.
A number of important agreement and MoUs, aimed at enhancing the bilateral trade and economic activity between the two states, are expected to be signed during the visit.
The prime minister will be meeting the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, the prime minister and the Chairmen of both the houses of the parliament, besides addressing a business forum.
The Prime Minister’s visit was taking place soon after the Belarusian President had visited Pakistan in May this year.
Sharif will also participate at the Pakistan-Belarus Business and Investment Forum.

PM Nawaz will be also conferred with an honorary doctorate degree by Belarusian State University.
