Such serious allegations against a man who has thrice been elected by the people of Pakistan as their Prime Minster, can not be taken lightly, though no sane person would tend to believe what he has said, owing to the dubious credibility of the man himself.

He regretted that brutalities against people of Indian-Occupied Kashmir have reached to the extreme, and that the Kashmiris are demanding nothing but justice and right of self-determination.

When asked how he viewed Pakistan’s effort to raise the issue on worldwide forums, Kirby said, “That’s for them to speak to”. The prime minister will get back home on September 24.

He was talking to Hurriyat leaders in Muzaffarabad on Friday ahead of his visit to NY to attend UN General Assembly session when he said that he would also take up the issue of Kashmir during his bilateral meetings with different world leaders.

The Prime Minister will make a policy statement in the UNGA General Debate on 21 September.

AJK’s President Sardar Masood Khan and Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider were also present.

On the sidelines of the UNGA, the Prime Minister will hold bilateral meetings with a number of world leaders, including the UN Secretary General. Sharif is likely to leave for the U.S. on September 17.

“Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will come here in Muzaffarabad on Friday before leaving for NY”.
