This development comes after the Prime Minister on Monday chaired a high-level meeting at his official residence at 7 Race Course Road here. Clearly, these incidents are prompting him to deliver on his tough talk on terrorism.

Over 14 personnel of the armed force were killed while at least 30 wounded in the attack that was termed as the deadliest attack on security forces in occupied Kashmir in two decades. Nawaz told the army chief that he is expecting an attack by India and asked him to “respond with full force”. Through Twitter he had promised: “I assure the nation that those behind this despicable attack will not go unpunished”.
According to the Military operations analyst, Lt General (r) Saleem Nawaz, the Indian army is not capable of stunning Pakistan with an unforeseen move. “We reserve the right to respond to any act of the adversary at a time and place of own choosing (sic)”. Following the high-level meeting, India has chose to diplomatically isolate Pakistan as part of retaliation. However, on its part, Pakistan has categorically rejected the accusations being levelled by Modi Government.
The conversation came ahead of PM Sharif’s speech at the UN General Assembly on Wednesday in which he is likely to focus on the Kashmir issue and Pakistan’s tense relations with India. In January also, attack on the Pathankot Army air base, in which seven jawans were killed, had also shaken the security in the border districts.
“Pointing fingers at Pakistan has become a traditional tendency of India after each terrorist attack”, the Dawn quoted Pakistan Foreign Office spokesperson Nafees Zakaria, as saying.
An NIA official said the fact that the Uri attackers used a similar set was not, in itself, conclusive evidence that the Lashkar carried out the strike.
In all these incidents, it was established that Pakisan was brain behind the attacks from and the recent attack in Uri sector is related to Line of Control (LoC) as it is very hard to keep an eye on high mountains, forests and rivers about the entry of intruders and this is the reason, the Pakistani Army is successful in organising intruders’ attacks on India.

Garnering support of OIC is a key element of India’s diplomatic offensive, as Delhi tries to bring together global support to isolate Pakistan, the Indian Express reported.
