The army can be deployed in areas prone to infiltration, he said.

Senior advocate and Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) leader Bhim Singh, who has filed a petition in this regard, said 37 prisoners were still languishing in Amritsar jail and they should be repatriated to their country as they have completed their sentence.

He said every Kashmiri wants peace in the state but because of some miscommunication, incidents of violence have happened here.

Modi said Jammu and Kashmir is referred to as the crown of India. India will expose the atrocities carried out by Pakistan in Balochistan and Pak-occupied Kashmir (PoK) regions if such situation arises in future.

Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said: “During the meeting, all parties were of the view that we can’t compromise on issues of national security”. “Time has now come that Pakistan will have to answer to the world about the atrocities being committed on people in Balochistan as well as PoK”.

“We are ready to address the grievances of all sections under the Constitution”, Modi told the marathon four-hour meeting, adding his “heart was pained” over the 35-day unrest that has claimed the lives of 55 people.

He also expressed satisfaction that irrespective of the difference in approach and opinion, all parties unanimously voiced their support to resolve the current crisis.

The Government today ruled out any immediate visit of an all-party delegation in Kashmir, but it said it was committed to the peaceful solution of the Kashmir crisis and its doors are open for all kinds of suggestions. The death toll reportedly in the ongoing unrest in Kashmir has mounted to 57, with 55 of them being civilians who were killed in police, para-military CRPF and Army firing since July 9. I have full sympathies with their families. “We are committed to providing good health care to the injured and also towards restoring peace in the valley so that people could live their normal lives.” he said in his concluding remarks. The pellet guns have been used in 2010 also. Singh said that the Centre has cleared an economic package of Rs 80,000 crore for the all-round development of the valley. Opposition parties also demanded to ban the use of pellet guns against the protesters. The Home Minister said that the states will reach out to Kashmiris living in other parts of the country so that their Kashmiri brethern can witness the scope of growth and prosperity in India. Global community must take notice of state terrorism by Indian forces in Indian Occupied Kashmir.
