Pochettino admits Spurs struggle to deal with ‘long ball’ Leicester
Leicester City’s Robert Huth, No 6 right, heads the ball to score the only goal of the game during their English Premier League soccer match between Tottenham Hotspur and Leicester City at the White Hart Lane stadium in London Wednesday, Jan.13, 2016.

Leading scorer Jamie Vardy could return after missing the Foxes’ last game last few games through injury, while Demarai Gray could make his Premier League debut after impressing in Sunday’s cup tie.
Huth’s header, which ended a run of 374 minutes without a goal, left Leicester behind Arsenal – who played out a 3-3 thriller at Liverpool – only on goal difference and three clear of third-placed Manchester City.
Claudio Ranieri says Leicester City’s Premier League rivals do not truly believe they can win the title this season.
But Leicester hit back and the dynamic, vibrant combination of Vardy, Shinji Okazaki and Riyad Mahrez caused numerous problems for Tottenham’s defenders, with Okazaki exploiting an error from Kyle Walker to shoot just wide of the near post.
“We maintained our calm, our shape, slowly getting better and (on the) counter-attack we created two great chances to score a goal, but Lloris made a fantastic save”. Tottenham started very well and put us under pressure but we didn’t lose our confidence or shape and it was hard for them.
Meanwhile, Leicester manager Claudio Ranieri reflected on this weekend’s draw.
“They know what to do in every single way”, said Vertonghen. “Sometimes you need a bit of luck”, said the Italian.
After four goals in 15 minutes in an error-strewn but thrilling first half, it looked like Olivier Giroud’s excellent solo goal in the 55th minute would preserve Arsenal’s two-point advantage at the top.
Pochettino said: “I’m very disappointed”.
He has since established himself in Ranieri’s side but admits it still pains him to see the current plight of his favourite team.
“There were a lot of players who haven’t played consistently in the Premier League and it was an important chance for them to show they can fight for a start in the team”, the coach told www.tottenhamhotspur.com.

Remi Garde’s side picked up just their second win of the season with a 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace on Tuesday night but they are still eight points from safety at the bottom of the division.
