Pochettino wants Spurs set in stone if they win title
Harry Kane scored the first and third goals to move clear of Jamie Vardy and Sergio Aguero in the race for the Golden Boot, with Dele Alli the other man on the scoresheet with his first Premier League brace as Spurs made a real statement of intent.

Tottenham continued their quest for the Premier League title this season with a comfortable 4-0 victory over Stoke at the Britannia Stadium on Monday evening.
The England striker posted a photograph of a pride of lions closing in on their prey on Instagram after Leicester’s dramatic 2-2 draw with West Ham United on Sunday left the door ajar for second-placed Tottenham to close the gap to five points.
“Leicester dropped points and I’ve been itching to play, I had to wait a whole day and a half”.
“It doesn’t get much better than that”, Kane said.
“We had too many players apprehensive about the pace Tottenham have and some are dropping off to compensate and that makes the game stretched”. Our dream is to fight and put pressure on Leicester and I think it was fantastic, the performance and the result.
Had it gone in, the midfielder would have had a hat-trick.
Tottenham have one final chance of pushing towards the top but they know it will be very difficult as there is a eight point gap and filling this gap is tough, but they should not give up and keep working hard. Alli said. “Finishing training for me, I think”.
Tottenham can play good football under pressure, and with just five games remaining, it is do-or-die time. “Leicester know we are going to keep fighting”. I have a squad of players who feel passion about the game.
“I am a very positive person in my life, I always believe that things can happen, good things for us”, the Argentine said.
“If in turn that compromises Tottenham’s challenge for the title then so be it – my main priority right now is to help Stoke end the season well”, he concluded.
“We are disappointed with what we produced”, Hughes said.
Striker Kane – who has now scored 24 league goals this season – says Spurs are confident of chasing down Leicester.
Now Spurs will try and build on their impressive season with a win at the Britannia.
