Pocock out of Rugby Championship with broken hand
The 28-year-old’s terrible luck with injuries continues as the backrower’s broken hand is the latest in a long line of personal woes after two separate knee reconstructions in 2013 and 2014.

Pocock remains an integral part of the Wallabies’ set-up, and his absence will leave a big hole to fill in upcoming games against South Africa and Argentina.
Pocock was substituted in the 36th minute against the Pumas, Australia coach Michael Cheika revealing the 28-year-old tried to continue despite the injury.
New Zealand’s victory over the Springboks earlier yesterday combined with the Perth result ensured Australia’s reign as southern hemisphere champions was officially ended.
The Wallabies are now second after their back-to-back home wins over South Africa and Argentina.
Cheika said he was impressed with man of the the match halfback Will Genia and five-eighth Quade Cooper, who together played a hand in four of the Wallabies five tries.
Cheika said he would review the game to determine why the penalty count was so skewed.
“It was good, you always prefer to have that happen at the start than have that happen against you”, Cheika said.
“You want to compete for the ball, but you want to stay on the right side of the law”.
The Wallabies have a week off before travelling to Pretoria to face South Africa on October 1.
“They make some really good movement, we were wanting to take it to them but we made silly mistakes”, he said. It’ll be a cauldron there in Pretoria. I’ve been really pleased with the lads.
