Pogba agrees deal close to GBP100m with Man U
Former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has reportedly approved the club’s efforts to resign Paul Pogba.

Quoted in Tuttosport, Wenger said: “It’s complete madness – but it seems that if you can afford to do it, you can justify it”.
“It’s completely insane if you compare it to normal life, that’s for sure, we live in a world where every activity that is worldwide makes a lot of money”.
United had already agreed to pay Juventus’ £101.3m (€120m) asking price for Pogba but had been in negotiations over extra fees.
The transfer has been stalling because of a stand-off between the clubs over who will pay the fees of Pogba’s representative Mino Raiola.
And Klopp thinks it is insane that United are going to spend more than £100m on one player.
Jose Mourinho has made no secret of his desire to bring in a midfielder this summer.
“We’re in a very good spot now, we think we can challenge for the Premier League, and we want to put a marker down, in the Community Shield with Leicester”, Rooney added.
Real did make contact with Juventus this week over Pogba, but sources told ESPN FC that Perez was not going to pay as much as United for the midfielder. “I was running around just trying to get the energy back into the team”.
“But for the next two years, captain or not captain, I’ll turn up and be available to play if I am wanted”. He is a leader on the pitch and off.
That being said, Arsenal fans need not expect their club to replicate that kind of splurging anytime soon, based on their manager’s reaction to the move.
Wenger again declined to comment on specific transfer targets, with Arsenal having been repeatedly linked with players like Leicester’s Riyad Mahrez and Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette.

“They are inching ever closer”. There are all sorts of things payments-wise to sort out and establish but I think it a case of when rather than if.
