Paris: The world record fee paid out by Manchester United for Paul Pogba could pay dividends for the Premier League club as long as the French star lives up to his billing, experts say.

New Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba, has set his sights on winning the Ballon d’Or having completed a world-record move to Old Trafford.

“I know some people think that he arrives here now and, the first time he touches the ball, he scores, but I’m here to protect him and give him the best conditions to be what we think he is going to be, which is a football player for Man United, a reference for this club”. And he’s certainly dreaming big in his new era for the club under Jose Mourinho.

“He can and he will get better, but now he is as strong as two years ago”.

“The Champions League of course, and personally, one of my dreams is to win the Ballon d’Or”. “For myself as well it’s a big challenge, too, just to come back to where I came from, where I grew up, where I started. I didn’t finish what I started here so I think I came here to finish it”.

It can be confirmed that Everton have already brought in a replacement for Stones in the form of Ashley Williams from Swansea City and now according to reports from De Telegraaf, Koeman is planning to further strengthen the Toffees side by signing Manchester United’s Juan Mata.

“Alex will play with the Under-18s team”.

United has finished seventh, fourth and fifth in the post-Ferguson years, but is one of the title favorites this season.

Asked about the Portuguese, Pogba said: “I spoke with a lot of players when he was at (Real) Madrid – I spoke with (Alvaro) Morata, (Raphael) Varane – and they all told me he is a coach for me, he will make me improve a lot because he makes you work harder”.

“He is the first Slovakian to play for the Red Devils in their history”. For a game against Blackburn in December 2011, Ferguson played full back Rafael da Silva in center midfield along with Park Ji-sung, with Pogba on the bench.

Mourinho also had a message for managers like Arsene Wenger and Juergen Klopp of Liverpool, who have suggested United was paying too much for Pogba. So I was thinking ‘why not?’. “So at Man United, it can happen”.

“We have, in the squad, 23 plus the keepers – and even so we had to make decisions and let some players go on loan, and try to sell others”.
