Pogba not worth the $130 million price tag, says Scholes

It all depends now on Manchester United to pay Raiola and Pogba the 20% bonus they are due, which amounts to a staggering $24 million, according to Daily Mail.

M.E.N. Sport revealed this week Pogba is happy to rejoin United and, despite public brinkmanship from Juventus, Allegri admitted the club were negotiating the departure of the 23-year-old Frenchman.

Meanwhile Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola, who also helped to broker moves for Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan to United, suggested there is a way to go on any prospective deal.

“For that money, you would need a player who scores 50-plus goals a season, like Ronaldo or Messi”.

“Pogba is nowhere near worth that kind of money yet”.

“I just don’t think he is worth £86m”.

“I want the best for my players and therefore also for Pogba”.

“We have one space for a midfield player”, the United boss said.

“We feel confident that at the end Juventus is going to have a good team, be strong in everything and compete in all competitions”.

Ex-Manchester United player Paul Scholes has warned the club to think twice before paying so much money for French global Paul Pogba, saying he is probably not worth it, according to Sky Sports. Ibrahimovic has been left out of the China tour, but Mkhitaryan and Bailly are both in the Far East as United prepare to face Borussia Dortmund on Friday then Manchester City on Monday.

“So we are calm, we know the profile of player we want. We have options for that profile and we’re going to get a fourth player but maybe it’s not the one you think”.

“We have two more options in front of us and we are going to close one”.
