Pogba right to stay at Juventus

The Express cite Paul Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola, as stating that the French midfielder does not have an agreement to join Barcelona next summer- which means both Premier League sides still have the chance of securing his signature.

However, this could be a good omen for Chelsea, whose title defence is already in mayhem following their dismal performances this season – if Raiola’s comment is true.

Appearing to have written ‘+5’ beside the number 10, a few claimed Pogba was attempting something similar to that of Ivan Zamorano – the former Inter player who lost his number nine jersey to the Brazilian Ronaldo and added a + symbol between the digits of his new number 18, equalling his old shirt number.

“There were three or four clubs interested him in the summer, but he chose to stay at Juve and he is convinced he made the right choice”.

City fans, can Pogba’s addition be the catalyst for European success? ‘Anyone who wants him has to sit down with Juve and then we will see.

However, this has been ruled out and the likes of Manchester City and Chelsea are still in the race to sign the impressive France worldwide. Pogba failed to make any appearance under the Scottish boss and left for the Serie in 2012.

However, after just one win in their first six league games this season, the Bianconeri have recovered slightly with two wins from their last three.
