Pogba’s agent says no United deal yet

The Daily Mirror reported that an agreement between Woodward, Juventus directors Giuseppe Marotta and Fabio Paratici, and Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola has already been reached during their meeting in the Italian city this week and official papers are now being prepared to formalize the deal.

“There is no deal done regarding Paul Pogba, lots of bla bla bla”, he tweeted.

Mourinho was asked directly at a news conference in Shanghai whether he could confirm the reports.

Mourinho added that there were three options with regards to his final transfer target, while he refused to confirm or deny a move for Pogba.

New United head coach Jose Mourinho is said to be optimistic about landing Pogba this summer that he told reporters he expects the 6-foot-3 Lagny-sur-Marne, France native to join his revamped squad during preseason training anytime soon.

“I asked them for four players. I am confident Mr Woodward will get the player we need to get a good balance”.

United are poised to make Pogba, 23, the first ever £100m footballer just four years after he left the club for just £800,000, having grown frustrated at a lack of opportunities.

Pogba sought to cool the intense speculation earlier on Thursday.

After months of insisting Pogba was not for sale, Juventus chief Allegri has finally revealed that talks are underway to sell the player, as he insists his team will not be affected by the imminent departure of a player who has been crucial to their domestic and Champions League successes over the last four years.
