Pogba’s record deal awaits medical nod
It’s an wonderful situation that such a great player is with us. If you want to be the best player in the world, if you go to Barcelona or Real Madrid, you are in trouble.

Juve coach Massimiliano Allegri, speaking after his side’s 3-2 friendly victory over West Ham United at the Olympic Stadium in London on Sunday, declined to confirm that a deal was close. “He has to work hard to come to the team”, he told BT Sport after the match.
The post Pogba joins Manchester United appeared first on Punch Newspapers.
Pogba’s arrival will secure the four signings Mourinho had set his sights on when he replaced Louis van Gaal at the end of last season.
But Mourinho believes the 23-year-old boasts a rare combination of qualities possessed by such Premier League greats as Frank Lampard, Steven Gerrard and Scholes, who retired after United’s last title triumph in 2013. I just know that it’s a big player that for sure is going to be important for a big club like Manchester Unied.
Pogba has been in the United States of America this summer, spending time in Los Angeles, Miami, Las Vegas and NY before heading back to Europe. This would eclipse those reportedly paid by Real Madrid for Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale.
“Paul Pogba has been granted permission to have a medical in order to finalize his transfer from Juventus to Manchester United”, United said Sunday in a one-line statement under the hashtag “Pogback”.
Many have argued that Pogba isn’t worth the insane price tag placed on his services by Juventus but by the looks of things Jose Mourinho seems to think otherwise.
Pogba swiftly responded to the announcement with his own enigmatic message on social media: “When too many people talk nobody understands”.
Pogba is expected to cost 9 figures once his agent fees have been added, after joining Juventus for about £800,000 in 2012.

Mourinho has so far signed defender Eric Bailly from Villarreal, midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan from Borussia Dortmund and former Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
