Wayne Rooney admits he is under pressure to prove himself all over again at Manchester United under new manager Jose Mourinho this season.

And 30-year-old Rooney acknowledges that puts extra pressure on him.
The Portuguese’s arrival has been followed by Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Eric Bailly, while a world-record move for Juventus’ Paul Pogba has been mooted.
“I think you always feel pressure when you play for Manchester United”, Rooney told reporters.
“I will try to do my best to help the team win the games and for the new season we are going to try to do everything to win titles”.
“The appointment of Jose Mourinho is a big appointment for us and we’re all excited by it. “We’ve made some fantastic signings, too”.
Pogba was an integral part of the France side that reached the Euro 2016 final although his performance in the 1-0 loss to Portugal received a panning.
Manchester United are now in China on the 2016/17 pre-season tour, where they will play Borussia Dortmund and Manchester City.
Gulf Oil International’s Vice President Frank Rutten said: “Our partnership with Manchester United has brought together two brands with incredible heritage and a great future together – and I see many parallels between us”. “It’s one of, if not the, biggest football club in the world and it is a pleasure to have played for them for them for so long”.
It was taken in good humour, though, as was a question about how the captain was finding it working under former Chelsea, Real Madrid and Inter Milan boss Mourinho.

“I’ve only had one day (training with Mourinho) since we came out, but it was a very good day”, he said.
