The France global arrived at the Red Devils in the summer transfer window to much fanfare after United parted with a world-record transfer fee to lure him back to the club.
Pogba will once again be in the spotlight when United travel to Vicarage Road to take on Watford in the Premier League.
The 23-year-old France worldwide could not nothing to prevent Jose Mourinho’s side slipping to a 1-0 defeat in the Europa League on Thursday.
“The world-record player is always a question, but I want Paul to forget that”, said the 53-year-old.
“Euro final, no pre-season, holidays, come back – it’s normal that in the first week he had the very good impact in the first game”.
‘All I heard during the first half against United was Pogba screaming and shouting at his own players, ‘ Kuyt told The Mirror. “The team improves, he will improve – no problem”. A 4-2-3-1 is defeinitely not the formation Pogba can strive in and a shift to a 4-3-3 looks to be on the cards for Mourinho if he is to bring the best out of his world-record signing.
When you make a relation between what you pay and the club revenue, you realise that other clubs paying 20, 30, 40 is a much bigger thing than what Man United did.
Meanwhile, United legend Paul Scholes had insisted that Mourinho should have played Michael Carrick alongside Pogba instead of Morgan Schneiderlin and Ander Herrera on Thursday in Rotterdam.
Mourinho believes Pogba’s dip in form was inevitable given that he did not have much of a pre-season. Of course, there are people who want to see him fail; he’s a Manchester United player.
“It depends on the situation”, Mourinho was quoted as saying by his club’s official site.
“Watford? I think Man United has to show every game, every game, every competition”.

“He can play where he was playing before in the Premier League, he can play where he did [against Feyenoord], there’s not a problem with his position”, added the Portuguese.
