Pokémon Generations Animated Series Airs Weekly On YouTube
The Pokémon Company has revealed Pokémon Generations, a new animated series that will revisit each generation in the globally popular game series. The anime is called Pokemon Generations and unlike the current Pokemon anime, it will be based entirely off the storyline of the Pokemon games. It will also take fans back through the different regions of the Pokemon world, getting them ready for the new lands of Alola in Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon. Some of the scenes shown in the trailer include the final battle between Red and Blue (from Pokemon Red and Blue) and the fight between Lance’s Dragonite and the Red Gyrados in the Lake of Rage.

The anime isn’t very long, so I’m happy to give it a look. We also got glimpses of Zygarde, Registeel, and the Legendary Beasts from Pokemon Gold and Silver.

Generations, according to a new trailer released Tuesday, will highlight some of the biggest moments from throughout the long-running series of Pokemon games starting with Pokemon Red and Blue and leading up to Pokemon X and Y. It will consist of 18 episodes that will be aired on the Official Pokemon Channel on YouTube. Such is the case with the upcoming Pokemon Generations animated series, which premieres on YouTube later this week.
