Based on the game’s app code, via RankedBoost, a “Trade_Search” code suggests that players of “Pokemon Go” can search for available trades in the game. The developer continued to note on its announcement that fans will be able to switch to different “Pokemon” buddy anytime they want.
While the addition of the buddy system will be refreshing, it seems other big tenets of the game are still not ready for the public.
Last week, Niantic revealed its plans to add a new “buddy” system to its popular AR title, Pokemon GO, in the near future.
However, Hanke has not specifically divulged the details on how the trading system works in the highly-anticipated “Pokemon Go” update. The Pokemon will appear alongside the player when he takes it for a walk.
Many people are excited about the buddy system. It makes us think back to that iconic image of Ash and Pikachu, together forever as they face their fictional world.
For those who do not know what the buddy system is, it is a way, through which players will be able to earn Candy of a specific Pokemon, depending on the distance travelled. This will make it easier for the player to earn sweets, as it will provide another way other than catching the same kind of Pokemon over and over again.

However, the official Pokemon site says that players can get “helpful bonuses – including Candy -” with the Pokemon GO buddy update.
