Pokemon Go Earns Over $200 Million in First Month
It’s also no secret that developer Niantic and the Pokemon Company have been enjoying massive financial success with the game, breaking one record after another. Just a few days ago, the game was estimated to have earned over 0 million in revenue. Since Pokemon GO’s release back on July 6th, the app has generated $200 million in revenue. If you think this figure is impressive on its own, wait until you see the games Pokemon Go has beaten. According to SensorTower’s data, the game has earned almost double the revenue of Clash Royale and nearly four times the revenue Candy Crush Saga made in a month. And, what’s more, Sensortower’s data shows Pokemon GO initially experienced a similar profit trajectory to Clash Royale until a certain country came into the picture. However, some critics have scoffed at Ninatic’s decision to profit off Pokemon GO as they claim it encourages players to trespass on people’s private property.

Clash Royale, which was released in March this year, earned about $125m in its first 30 days. Chinese Pokemon fans are very excited for the game, and cannot wait to get their hands on it.
Daily usage remains high for Pokemon Go, with the average played per player each day still higher than Facebook, clocking in at roughly 26 minutes per day on average. The app now has a few bugs that make it an annoying and hard game to play.
