In terms of whether or not you’ll be able to run the Field Test, the blogpost mentions that Android Version 4.3 and above is required, while an iPhone 5 with iOS 8 and above is needed for Apple users.
Back in April Niantic Labs started up the “Field Test” for Pokemon GO, which is essentially a closed beta.
Pokémon Go’s beta has been ongoing in Japan for the past few months.
You need to agree to the privacy policy before signing up.
GameSpot has reported participants’ progress in the beta program will be deleted before the full game becomes available later this year. Keep in mind that the app has a limited set of features, some of which may not work properly. However, just because you sign up doesn’t mean you’re guaranteed a spot: Niantic selects players according to a lottery system.

Pokemon Go is Niantic’s the recent addition to its new generation of gaming experience called the Real World Gaming platform. For those picked, you’ll be encouraged to get out of the house and search the real world for wild Pokemon. Also, all of the monsters are divided into three categories: normal, legendary, and mythic. In a post in the official “Pokemon” website, the “Pokemon Go” developers invite eligible players in the U.S.to assist in the development of the game through beta testing with them. They can get Pokemons in cities, parks, mountains, rivers and more. Pokemon fans have always been waiting for the release of the game; is the wait finally over?
