“We don’t have to train people about augmented reality thanks to Pokemon Go”, he said, adding that that “techtainment” could be the next big trend at more of his company’s theme parks as well as rivals like Disney (DIS) and Six Flags (SIX).

Pokemon Go is already raking in millions of dollars for Nintendo, but pretty soon it’s going to be printing money like nobody’s business. The game is available for free in Google Play Store and iOS App Store. More than 64,000 have rated the app at the iTunes App Store, while over 340,000 have weighed in at the Google Play store.

The United Kingdom is the fifth market getting Pokemon Go, as Niantic also launched it in Germany yesterday, in addition to the three original markets that got it from the very beginning.

It’s only been one week since Pokemon GO launched, but already the game has become an enormous hit with enthusiast and mainstream audiences alike.

According to another analyst firm SensorTower, mobile users spend more time playing Pokemon than on Facebook. The aim is to cash in on the flood of Go players hunting for pokémon out in the real world, while advertisers promote their brands within the game. The game yet to launch in some other countries whereas the guides would help the people in India.

The game has reached the top spot in its contextual milieu.

With the latest update, the app also now asks for permission to send notifications although it doesn’t state what the notifications are. Just walk to the Pokemon’s location using the map and tap on it. You will see that the Pokemon appears on the screen right on the real ground around it. You then have to throw a Pokeball to catch the creature.

This is how the game works. But you need to move around a little to find them. It’s part of the tween and teen popular culture, and it’s been around since 1995, with trading cards and card games, cartoons and tons of merchandise, which means nearly a full generation of young people are connected to the Pokémon enterprise. It is new and exciting and as one commentator pointed out it realises a vision Pokemon fans have had since the series came out: what if Pokemon were real and inhabited our world? So it is better to wait for the official release.
