Pokemon GO likely to bring sponsored locations with popular brands like McDonald’s
After being launched in United States, Australia, and New Zeeland a week ago, the game was recently released in the United Kingdom and Germany.

And yet, we all know that this isn’t a barrier for those who want to play the game on the iPhone because many users created US accounts for the App Store in order to download Pokemon Go legitimately and without waiting for Nintendo to launch it in their countries. The Japanese company Nintendo has not said a word about Pokemon Go’s release in China.
If “Pokemon GO” has previously beaten Tinder, Google Maps and Snapchat are likely to be overtaken as well.
John Hanke, CEO of Pokemon Go developer Niantic, said the game will include “sponsored locations” in the future, according to an interview with The New York Times earlier this week. If this is introduced, these sponsored stops will also increase the revenue of Pokemon Go. The official Pokemon Go Twitter account later confirmed it.
A malicious gaming app called Pokemon Go Ultimate, the first “lockscreen” app has made its way onto the Google Play store, said software security company ESET.

In fact, it has already beaten the Draw Something, Candy Crush and Clash Royale game apps in terms of how many millions of people are playing daily. There are very few Windows Phone users out there and it’s just not worth it for Nintendo to roll out the game for this platform. Boosting their capacity is of course necessary prior to rolling out to more countries because they will be receiving complaints if their servers keep crashing.
