Pokemon Go Now Live In United Kingdom And Germany
While some are using the game to generate business, police in O’Fallon, Mo., say four teens used the game to stake out attractive game locations and rob “Pokemon Go” players.

The figures are especially astounding as the game, developed by Niantic Inc. and distributed by Nintendo, is only available at the moment in the US, Australia, New Zealand and Germany, but other countries were expected to follow soon.
Wednesday’s German launch had prompted speculation that a wider European launch was around the corner, but developer Niantic had yet to confirm anything, making Thursday’s release a welcome surprise.
Now the game has officially arrived in the United Kingdom and can be downloaded from the iOS App Store and Google Play for Android.
Niantic released a statement which indicated that “We recently discovered that the Pokémon GO account creation process on iOS erroneously requests full access permission for the user’s Google account”. Earlier this year Franken made a very similar inquiry, sending an open letter to Oculus chief Brendan Iribe calling for the company to be more transparent about how it collects and uses Oculus Rift user data. The report indicated that as of Tuesday, July 12, just under 21 million USA smartphone users have been actively playing the game on a daily basis.
Pokemon Go has proved phenomenally popular and the launch has been staggered to help developer Niantic cope with demand.
But the Pokemon don’t exist in a fantasy world anymore, no – now you can run into a wild Snorlax on your way to Morrisons. Others were found on Google Play and Apple’s App Store. Funnily enough, these spawn points are more concealed in “Pokemon Go”, but they stand out quite obviously in “Ingress”.
