Pokemon Go’s Team Leaders Revealed
We don’t know if the team leaders will play a role in anything else such as when legendary events happen or if they’re just there to look cool.

The Team Valor’s leader is Candela, who’s wearing a P-Coat; Team Mystic’s leader is Blanche, and he’s wearing layers of clothing, incluing a light blue trenchcoat. At San Diego Comic-Con, Niantic revealed the Team Leaders new goal and how they will interact with you in future.
Kotaku reports that Hanke also discussed undiscovered easter eggs, the addition of extra-functionality to gyms and a possible breeding mechanic.
Team Valor is led by Candela, who wears a white jacket with red accents to go along with her team’s color. In Pokemon GO, once you hit Trainer Level 5, you get to choose a Team and fight for them, but while selecting the Team you can only see the Color, Team Name, and the Leader (shadow).
