Pokemon Go won’t count toward T-Mobile data
“Since Pokémon Go launched July 6th, the mobile game has raced past the likes of Facebook and Twitter on the app charts, already attracting a record-setting 21 million daily users in the USA alone”. It’s an unprecedented mobile phenomenon.

Pokemon Go is addictive fun, but a downside to wandering around with your smartphone out is that it can run through your data plan quite quickly.
T-Mobile is capitalizing on the astonishing popularity of Pokemon Go by offering various freebies-including unlimited data while playing the game-as part of an upcoming promotion.
Pretty much every PR agency under the sun has had a meeting this week trying to determine how they can get a slice of the Pokemon GO popularity, and, to be fair, so has every newsroom.
Retailers and marketers are eager to get their hooks into the game, so it was only a matter of time before a major telco like T-Mobile figured out how to lure customers with it. Gotta catch ’em all.
Customers will have to use the T-Mobile Tuesdays app to claim the perk, which also comes with $15 toward a Lyft ride, a free Frosty from Wendy’s and a discount on battery packs.
On top of all this, T-Mobile also says that 250 more people will win $100 worth of in-game PokéCoin currency, and five people will win “a Pokémon Go hunting trip” anywhere in the US for two.
Pokemania has officially gone insane.

To access the deals users need to download and install the Android or iOS T-Mobile Tuesday app, as well as, of course, Pokemon Go.
