Pokemon Red and Blue Limited Edition New 3DS Bundle Coming Soon

The Xbox and Playstation couldn’t measure up to its success. That same day, Pokemon Red, Pokemon Blue, and Pokemon Yellow will become available on the 3DS eShop. But it’s certainly going to be about the world’s favorite pocket monsters and encourage them to “train on”.

Unlike the 3DS bundles, these special 2DS releases will only come with one game each. The new bundles include 2DS in transparent red, blue or yellow and a pre-installed Virtual Console version of Pokemon Red Version, Pokemon Blue Version, or Pokemon Yellow Version, corresponding to the 2DS system’s color. The console’s menu theme will be specially customized with the theme of the game chosen as well.

A Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon cover plate set featuring artwork from the game will launch on February 19, and another set featuring artwork of classic Pokemon is also coming on February 27.

Various retailers will also be stocking amiibo such as Charizard, Greninja, Jigglypuff, Lucario and Pikachu. This game will launch at the end of February. In addition, Pokemon TV, available on Pokemon.com, Roku, Chromecast, and Amazon Fire platforms, will feature one film title per month to align with other Pokemon brand activities.
