Weavile and Charizard will join Pokken Tournament’s current playable roster which now includes Lucario, Machamp, Pikachu, Gardevoir, Suicune, and Gengar.

Charizard hasn’t come alone though, as a character called Weavile also has been announced for a game that Kotaku states will arrive July 16.

In addition, it’s been confirmed that support Pokemon will be available, although their function in “Pokken Tournament” still remains a mystery.

So what’s your opinion on the two newest members of the Pokken Tournament roster? Sadly though, there is no official release date yet for the United States, so Pokemon fans in the United States may wait a while until they can battle Pokemon characters in a new way, Tekken-style. IGN has also confirmed that there will be supporting characters in the Pokemon fighting game that can help boost the attacks of the chosen fighter.
