Poldark Suffers Head Injury Filming In Cornwall
Poldark star Aidan Turner has dismissed speculation that he will replace Daniel Craig as James Bond as “just rumours”.

Poldark returns to BBC One on Sunday at 9pm.
He revealed that when they were filming the scene where he was lifting Eleanor Tomlinson, who played Demelza, out of the boat, a huge wave crashed the vessel and slammed it into Turner’s head.
However, the heartthrob was blindsided when a giant wave came out of the blue and knocked a boat into his head – causing him to drop co-star Eleanor, who plays Demelza in the series, into the surf.
Aidan Turner got Poldark fans all hot under the collar this morning after he seemed to suggest that his character, Ross Poldark, is going to be killed off.
While a bemused Aidan couldn’t even remember saying it, Eleanor said: ‘I knew that was going to happen! “I was the man injured.” he added.
The finale of the first series past year saw Poldark arrested for murder and plundering a shipwreck and his wife Demelza left alone on the Cornish cliff-top.
Talking about the scary incident again on Radio 1, he added: ‘When you shoot in the sea you’re at the mercy of mother nature so we just got into a lot of trouble. It was very traumatic’. But will it stay afloat when it goes head to head on Sunday night with ITV’s rival period drama series, Victoria, starring Jenna Coleman?
Turner told the magazine: “You’d think at the end of season one it can’t get any worse for these guys”.
“But it just slowly does get worse”.
Turner said that despite filming in the heart of winter on freezing Cornish beaches, he tried to keep a smile on his face.
Later in the show Nick was forced to clarify the comment with the leading man, scolding him by telling him they’d had anxious texts from fans before reading one out: ‘Aidan Turner just said he was going to die, please say that’s not happening’.
