The Douglas-Coffee Drug Unit arrested two people on methamphetamine and other drug-related charges following a traffic stop just south of Douglas.

WHITESBORO, N.Y. (AP) Authorities have identified a central NY police officer killed in a vehicle crash.
They called 911 and met with an officer and police said they found the van turning into a drive on West Helen Montgomery Avenue.
Police said Woods was charged with driving on a suspended license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
Both the officer and the 28-year-old woman were taken to Rhode Island Hospital.
According to police, Weyrauch kicked the officers when they tried to handcuff him.
