Police at Chris Brown’s home after woman sought help
U.S. singer Chris Brown has been arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon after a woman told police he had threatened her with a gun.

Chris Brown is in some serious trouble with the law after allegedly pulling a gun on a woman in his home this morning, then throwing a duffel bag out of the window of his LA home during a standoff with police. Officer Lyle Knight told the Associated Press at the scene that police were waiting for a judge to approve a search warrant.
Police responded to the home in the 5000 block of Corbin Avenue aver receiving the assistance call at about 3 a.m., said Lt. Chris Ramirez with the Los Angeles Police Department.
In a series of profanity-laden Instagram videos posted just after 9 a.m., Brown alleged that he had been “asleep half the damn night”, only to awake to the helicopters and police presence outside.
After several missteps, Brown completed his probation in that case a year ago.
In 2013, he was charged with assault after striking a man outside a hotel in Washington DC. He spent 2 ½ months in custody, with USA marshals shuttling him between Los Angeles and the nation’s capital for court hearings.
After completing a series of court-ordered anger management classes, Brown was also accused of throwing a brick at his mother’s auto. It came after Brown had completed court-ordered anger management classes.
Curran further claimed that when she attempted to leave, Brown’s people tried to have her sign a non-disclosure agreement.
Ramirez declined to elaborate on the charges against Brown, saying an investigation was still under way.
The woman who made the call from outside the Tarzana residence told authorities Brown pointed a gun at her, NBC News reported. “What is it? What’s going to be next?” he asked, adding, “At the same time, when I call police for stalker people … they don’t come until the next day”. He also claimed that the media attention surrounding the incident at his house is actually helping promote his name and music.

In the meantime, Brown took to his Instagram account to scoff at the idea he was barricaded inside his home, which he referred to as a palace.
