Police have arrested the man alleged to have hacked Pippa Middleton’s iPhone

Police are investigating the theft of 3,000 photographs including images of the Duchess of Cambridge and her children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, after hackers broke into Pippa Middleton’s iCloud account.

The seller demanded “a minimum of £50,000” (around $65,000) within 48 hours, as of Friday afternoon United Kingdom time, they said.

Pippa Middleton was also maid of honor to her sister Catherine (‘Kate’) when she married Prince William.

A spokesman for Kensington Palace, the official residents of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, said it did not speak on behalf of Pippa and would not comment.

According to The Sun, the pictures show Miss Middleton at a wedding dress fitting and naked images of her fiance, James Matthews.

London’s Metropolitan Police arrested the unidentified suspect in in Northamptonshire, in central England, police said in a statement.

“He was arrested on suspicion of a Computer Misuse Act offence and is being taken into custody at south London police station”.

They added: ‘This isnt [sic] an auction it will be a simple process of the highest bid. “I can confirm that not only have the lawyers been informed but the police are about to be involved as well”.

The images included some of the royal children as well as wedding dresses and parties.

The alleged thief’s identity is still unknown and it is speculated that the hacker surfaces two years after the big issue where a number of celebrities, which included “Hunger Games” star Jennifer Lawrence, fell victim to a hacker attack on the iCloud in 2014. iCloud stores private photos from phones and computers.
