Police ID victim in Portland homicide as Vancouver teen

A 25-year-old woman was arrested Friday in connection with a fight and shooting at a strip club in Southeast Portland, according to the Portland Police Bureau.

Shortly after 2 a.m. Thursday, North Precinct officers responded to the intersection of North Bruce Avenue and Hudson Street on a report that a man was down in the street, bleeding and unconscious, according to a Crime Stoppers of OR news release.

Two women were injured and taken to Portland hospitals by ambulance.

Two people thought to be suspects were held by club security staff and turned over to police. One of the suspects was transported to a hospital for injuries suffered during the altercation.

The Portland Police Gang Enforcement Team was called out to investigate the shooting.

In a prepared statement, the bureau said “there is no danger to the public”.
